Tamar Braxton Speaks Out After Former Fiancé JR Robinson Ends Engagement

Tamar Braxton has finally spoken out after separating from her fiancé, JR Robinson.

The attorney confirmed the couple’s breakup after just seven months on Oct. 1, revealing that he had “ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy and being a better person,” noting that the reason behind the split was their “private place.”

But while he remained mum on his reasoning, he did try to shut down claims that he had cheated on the reality star and asserted that he was not involved in the recent burglarizing of his ex’s car.

“I’ve done a lot to work on my mental health and change who I used to be into who I am now,” she noted. “And I can’t help if people fall into that perception because it’s easy. And I get it”—though she isn’t interested in being perceived for her past or the things she’s faced on her journey to where she is today.

She then appeared to allude to her breakup, confirming, “I, today, am mentally healthy, and I’m happy. I’m hurt, but such is life. I’m surprised, but okay.”

Plus, she’s looking forward to touring for the 10th anniversary of Love and War.

“But I just want everybody to know that the devil is a dirty liar and I’ve worked my entire behind off, I’ve funded this entire tour,” she continued. “Live Nation gave me the opportunity.” With it, she’s excited to ignore the negativity and having “a blast” with her fans.
