Nelly posted a birthday message to Ashanti in celebration of her 43rd Birthday on his Instagram account on Friday.
According to The Daily Mail The 48-year-old rapper shared a video that was comprised of various clips and photos showing him spending time with his partner.The hitmaker, who recently confirmed that he had rekindled his relationship with the singer, also wrote an affectionate message in his post’s caption to publicly express his affection for the artist.
‘One time for the birthday girl…. Such a beautiful, an incredible person inside and out and one of the hardest working women. I know.’…’Happy Birthday Love ya!!!!’
Ashanti also left a short message in the post’s comments section, where she humorously referred to her boyfriend as ‘big head.’Nelly and the Grammy Award-winning performer initially met during the 45th Annual Grammy Awards in 2003.The pair remained together for a decade before it was revealed that they had separated.
The two sparked rumors about a potential reconciliation this past April, when they were spotted while holding hands during a boxing match that took place in Las Vegas.

Nelly went on to confirm that he had reunited with Ashanti this past September in an interview with Rasheeda and Kirk Frost on the Boss Moves With Rasheeda show, during which he stated: ‘Yeah, we cool again.’
The hitmaker went on to state that the reconciliation ‘surprised both of us. It wasn’t anything that was planned.’
An insider recently spoke to Us Weekly and stated that the performers had been making the most of their new romance.
‘A few years ago, Ashanti never would’ve imagined reconciling with Nelly, but they’re enjoying spending time together,’ they stated.
