Keke Palmer Granted Sole Custody Of Her Son And Temporary Restraining Order Against Darius Daulton

KeKe Palmer’s ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson, has been mandated by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to maintain a distance of 100 yards from the actress and their 8-month-old son, following Palmer’s successful motion for a temporary restraining order.

The court order grants Palmer sole custody of their child until further notice, disallowing visitation rights for Jackson during this period. A hearing in December will determine the potential permanence of the order.

Palmer stated in her petition that she ended the relationship with Jackson in October 2023, after an on-and-off dynamic since 2021. On November 7, she alleged that Jackson, unannounced, appeared at her residence demanding to see their son. Refusing to allow the child to attend a football game with Jackson led to a confrontation. Palmer recounted that Jackson lunged at her, grabbing her neck and face, causing her to fall backward over a couch. He then allegedly took her phone and fled the house.

Law enforcement was summoned, and after interviewing Palmer, her sister, and Jackson, they instructed him to leave with a warning not to return.

Palmer disclosed a previous incident in February 2022, describing how Jackson became physically abusive after seeing a bikini photo of her. She claimed he slammed her to the floor and, the next morning, physically attacked her again at the bottom of the stairs. Security footage screenshots from both incidents were submitted as evidence.

In an emotional declaration, Palmer emphasized that the abuse extended beyond physical harm, encompassing emotional and manipulative aspects. She expressed concern about Jackson’s jealousy, particularly regarding the time she spent with their son, fearing it could escalate to harm the child based on his previous violent outbursts.

During an alleged incident in September 2023, Palmer reported that Jackson, frustrated with their crying son, raised further apprehensions about the child’s safety in his care.

“Darius started getting rough with Leo physically and I stepped in to make sure Darius would not hurt him. Darius was angry and it almost became a tug of war with Leo,” Palmer said. “Darius finally let go and Leo was not harmed, but as I was holding Leo trying to comfort him and finish changing his diaper, Darius hit me in the head before storming out of the room.”

Jesus!
